Q. What level do you need to be able to do a beach or nature ride?
All levels: from beginner to experienced rider. For beginners, the horse is held throughout the ride.
For intermediate and advanced levels: it is the instructor who will judge on site if the rider has the level required to trot or gallop. However, the rider must follow the instructions of the guide.
Q. Can children do beach rides?
Yes. As from 3 years.
Q. Does the ride really take place on a deserted beach?
Riambel beach is indeed the most beautiful ribbon of deserted beach on the whole island. There is no hotel, no speedboat, no kitesurfing, no beach sofa. Riambel beach, due to its proximity to the ‘VORTEX’, is a ZEN point of the wild south which exudes a peaceful and serene atmosphere.
Q. What type of horse are available?
Our horses are English Thoroughbreds. They are retired racehorses. We also have 5 ponies
Q. Can the rider choose his horse?
The allocation of horses is determined according to the level of the rider.
Q. What is the maximum rider weight?
95kg.
Q. How far in advance should we arrive
It is necessary to arrive 30 minutes in advance for the briefing and the administrative formalities and so that the client can get to know his mount. It also allows to evaluate the skills of the rider in the arena.
Q. Is wearing a riding helmet compulsory?
Absolutely. A head net cap is offered with each riding helmet for better hygiene.
Q. Once booked, can we cancel the ride?
All cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance.
