Arunima is the founder of the Centre Equestre de Riambel, a place dedicated to a passion for horses and their well-being.

Her journey began in 1999 when she rescued a single horse—an experience that sparked a lifelong commitment to equine care. Driven by this passion, she went on to establish a non-profit riding club, creating a space where people can connect with horses while ensuring a safe and dignified retirement for former racehorses.

Today, Arunima also serves as the president of the Equine Welfare Association (EWA). Through this role, she actively advocates for the welfare, protection, and rehabilitation of retired racehorses across Mauritius.
